Negative feedback from feedback_king_n on Thu, 5 Jan 2012 00:27:43 -0600: I bought from glanth.

EDIT: Has been refunded 2 years later.

On July 11th, 2010, I purchased a Red Gyarados plush from Glanth for $75 shipped. I was in the middle of moving at the time so I asked her to hold onto it for me until I was ready for it to be shipped, though I paid upfront. She said that this was fine.

On July 25th, I was done moving, so I sent her a message asking her to please send the plush to my new address. I received no reply and no plush.

In August, I made a collection post and mentioned somewhere in it that I was waiting on the Red Gyarados from Glanth. Someone commented and said that they'd had trouble receiving packages from her, and suggested that I contact her. So on August 17th, I sent her another email, also including my mailing address. On September 5th, I sent another email asking for a response, plush, or refund, and again received no response.

On October 23rd, I sent another such message, and again received no reply. (I should probably have left a negative at this time, but was hoping I could still receive a refund if I kept in contact.)

In January, I came across a post where someone mentioned that Glanth had changed email addresses, and was no longer reachable at her old one (to which I'd been sending my emails).

I had a problem with Glanth earlier this year, it took months to get my items. So I guess it's a small part my fault for giving them a second chance. But that doesn't excuse this situation.

I purchased about $16 worth of items on 06/07/2010 and STILL haven't gotten my items. I sent Glanth an email exactly a month ago saying that I would either like my items or I would like a refund. I still haven't heard anything back. I've pretty much just accepted that I basically had $16 stolen from me.

I purchased three plush from glanth on May 28 and still have not received them. I was never informed of when the items were shipped (if they have been shipped), and have attempted to contact glanth about them without success.

On July 16 glanth said that, "All owed packages have now been shipped, with the exception of two." Despite this, I still have not received my items. I left a comment at the original purchase thread, as well as a PM, asking glanth to contact me with shipping information. It has been a week since I asked, and over two months since I paid for the items, and there has still been no attempt to contact me, no information on whether my items were actually shipped, and no items.

On May 30th, 2010, I purchased an item from glanth's sales post. Communication was good while I was purchasing and inquiring about another item and price. They seemed to have described condition as well and all was well up until the time that I paid for the items through Paypal.

Since the purchase was made during the Memorial Day Weekend, the last note that I received was that they would send out the packages usually on Mondays but that Monday the post office was closed so Wednesday would have been the next day. After waiting a little over three weeks, I inquired about when my package would be received.

Although this made me nervous, glanth made a post that more packages would be sent out a few days later. At this point, I felt that my package would come in so I continued to wait. During this time, the Paypal dispute time frame of 45 days had elapsed. Now that I am trying to resolve this conflict, I am unable to even make any contact with glanth even with the private messages, comments and emails that I am sending.

Since I am hearing that there are other members who have been ignored, I am still surprised that glanth's sales post continues to be open. I have tried multiple means to contact the user but since other users have said they received contact I have mixed feelings. With all this being said, it seems that I will lose my money since the Paypal dispute cannot make it through. I also still feel that negative feedback should be left considering the multiple opportunities to respond and the lack of communication from glanth. I hope that glanth reads this and will still be able to respond so that there will be a chance that I revoke this.

On the 18th of July, I purchased an item from Glanth's sales post and paid that night. Communication was good within that day, and the only real 'issue' that went on was a misunderstanding about Paypal fees. I'd not seen anything on their sales post that mentioned charging fees, and since my total was high already, it was a setback. However, things were cleared up promptly and I paid. I also asked for larger pictures of the item and Glanth responded by telling me they would have the pictures up the next day and that the item would be shipped out in about five to six days, so I waited.

Monday rolled by, and I sent a few messages asking about the status of the item and the pictures. The following Monday, I got a response with a link to the pictures and was informed that they could not find a good-sized box, but that they would pick one up the next day at work. Okay, fair enough.

I gave Glanth the benefit of the doubt and waited. So I recently tried to get into contact with Glanth, as it's been about twenty days since I paid and have not heard anything on the status of my item. I've yet to receive any response, and am a bit miffed. At this point, all I want is to either get a refund or have my item shipped out with proof such as a tracking code. Honestly, if something has come up, I believe it's the seller's responsibility to find a way of getting into contact with their customer.

I trusted Glanth with my money and that they would be prompt about shipping as stated in their post, and it saddens me to have to do this. If I don't get contact soon(as in by Saturday or Sunday), I have a dispute written up and ready to send in, as I'm not about to lose my money. If Glanth responds and can do as I ask, I'll revoke my negative and give them neutral feedback. Drama isn't fun, and I just want this to be over with, so if you're reading this Glanth, please consider what I have said in this post.

Back in May 2010 I saw Glanth was having an auction/offers post for Amada Stickers and other items, I bid on three of them. I later won them and since I had gotten my item from her when I bought something from her previously (although it took a little bit) I thought she was reliable. She claimed to have moved at one point so I believed her and excepted the slight delay, but then days turned into weeks and I had no items and she stopped posting. I tried to send multiple PMS and emails (to her original email she used for paypal)and even community shout-outs to no reply. So in August 2010 I left a negative, it was long past the time I could file a paypal dispute so I just had to rely on her.

Eventually,I was told about a new email to try to contact her with, I still did not receive a reply. Another user here who knew her told her to check for my email to which she finally replies (October 2010).

She explains she will look for them at her parent's house and that perhaps they where still there. (She never gave any mention of if she had shipped anything or even tried to.) She told me to email her again in January of the new year to find out if she found them or not. I do this, of course she reports finding nothing. So finally she offers me a refund.

I give her the total and my paypal and she says she will give me a refund at the end of the week when she gets her paycheck. Again, nothing. I sent her another email in late February or early March asking what happened to sending a refund and I also explained how this is not reasonable and that I am having a hard time being patient with this.

No reply, no refund,no items to this day. I never have had an unresolved purchase like this happen..but it looks like its not going to be fixed. Its upsetting,it really is.

On June 22nd, 2010, I paid for a HG/SS poster that Glanth was auctioning. My boyfriend was the one who bid on the poster, but I was the one who paid for it. The total of the item was $44.59. A couple weeks later she made a shipping update post of packages she shipped out, but my package was not on the list because she needed to find a bigger tube to ship it in. She said it would be out on her next post office visit.

Months go by, and I never see a trace of the poster, nor any e-mails or messages saying why my package was delayed. Around mid-August is when I started to get really worried since I saw a slew of negative feedbacks towards her from users with similar experiences as me. I decided to contact her via e-mail that I got from her paypal (I sent one e-mail on September 1st, 2010, and another e-mail on October 4th, 2010). I never got a response.

I got a tip from someone on the community that she changed her e-mail, so I contacted her again on October 19th, 2010. She responded on October 21st, 2010 apologizing for the delay, saying that life has been hectic, and that she was blocked from her old e-mail. She said she would send out a freebie for waiting so long.

I still didn't receive the package, waited a couple more months, and decided to contact her again on January 26th, 2011; telling her that I never got the poster. She said that she just got done moving, and it was mailed back in October. She didn't provide any proof of shipment, or even contact me when she sent it out. She said that it may have been sent back to her old house and that she'll e-mail me that night to see if it did. Still got no response.

It's been nearly 10 months since the original transaction, and I pretty much gave up contacting her since February due to seeing all of the other negative experiences other users have had with her. The lack of extreme lack of communication, failure to provide proof of shipment, and just overall horrible experience is what led me to leave this.

I originally left negative feedback on October 22nd, even updated it with a positive attitude saying she contacted me and would ship my item, but ultimately never received my item. I really hope she learns from this and comes back to explain her actions some day.

January 22nd: (Me)

"Hi there,

I was informed on pkmncollectors that you had changed email addresses, so I will try contacting you here!

Here is the message I sent a few months ago:

Hello there,

I sent you a note with my mailing address for the Red Gyarados plush I asked you to hold onto about two months ago, but since I haven't received the plush or any response yet. I actually lost my job since purchasing this, so at this point, I would like a refund of the full amount ($75.00), but if that isn't possible sending the plush (by registered mail) would be fine.

Please let me know how we can proceed from here.

Thanks!
happyjolteon"

January 28th: (Glanth)

"Hey,

Sorry it took a couple of days to get back to you on this.

I moved to San Francisco (from Oregon) a few months ago, so anything that was mailed out and then returned kind of went into the bizarre mail limbo for awhile, and a lot of stuff showed up at my parent's house (including a couple of returned items, and items I purchased, christmas gifts, etc) while somethings never made it through.

I called my parents to verify, and it looks like your Gyarados showed up there about a month ago, and they neglected to mention it (cross-state communication gets tricky).

I can offer a couple of options. I could refund the $75, but since I'm about to pay rent, it would be about 2-3 weeks before I could do that (I'm sorry to have to put such a lengthy timeline to it, but, you know, rent). Or I would be happy to have my parents mail it out by registered/tracked mail early next week (Monday or Tuesday likely, it depends on my dad's work schedule).

Let me know what your preference is, and I will gladly work with that.

In the meantime, if you decide you'd like the plush send me along your address again so I can make sure that we still have it (my parent's didn't say if they saved the wrapping, pretty much everything was getting thrown into a big box until I can visit Oregon again to sort through my packages).

Thanks for being understanding, and sorry again for the delayed response. I didn't want to reply until we figured out if the Gyarados had been returned or what."

January 28th: (Me)

"Hi,

I think I'd prefer a refund at this point. Can we set a time for the refund so that I'll know to follow up if I haven't received it by then? Maybe February 20th or so? That's a little over 3 weeks from now.

Thanks!"

January 28th: (Glanth)

"February 20th sounds like a good plan. I should be able to get the payment to you before then, though. This is your paypal address, right?

And thanks for being understanding. I'm sorry about everything."

January 29th: (Me)
"Yep, this is my Paypal address too. Thanks!"

February 20th: (Me)

"Hi there, just checking in on this since today is the 20th =) My paypal address again is:
happyjolteon@gmail.com

Thanks!"

February 28th: (Me)

"Hi, it's now the 28th and I haven't received any response or refund from you yet. If I don't receive it within the next 3 days I'll have no choice but to leave a negative feedback."

February 28th: (Glanth)

"Hey, sorry. My parents have been visiting from out of state so it's been pretty hectic and I haven't had time to sit down in front of the computer (on my phone right now).

My last paycheck (which I was planning on paying you from) was smaller than I expected, but I'll be able to pay you in the next couple of days when I have a chance to get to the bank. Sorry for the delay."

I left my original negative feedback on March 4th, and informed Glanth of this, but have received no response.
